Gary earned his degree in Counseling from The Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor # MH 14997.Gary has experience counseling couples, individuals, teens, young adults, families and Senior citizens. In addition to his experience with individuals and couples Gary has spent time specializing in ministering to Men who are struggling in their marriages and with individuals working through the loss of loved ones and dealing with their grief. He received his undergraduate degree from Florida Southern College in Citrus Business Management. Prior to entering the counseling field Gary spent 30 years working in business in corporate America. Gary has spent all of his adult life in church service as a Deacon, Elder, Worship Leader and 19 years as a Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America. He believes that his years in the business world, community and church service have prepared him to minister to individuals in a particularly personal way. Gary has experienced that life can be very hard and messy. Guiding people back to a path of healing, hope, and fulfillment is something he is very passionate about. Gary was born in Wilmington North Carolina, but has lived in Florida since he was 9 months old. Growing up in Plant City, He is an Eagle Scout and has been married to Cathy, his high school sweetheart, for 40 years. Gary and Cathy have 3 grown children and 3 Granddaughters. he loves spending time with his family, is an avid horticulturist, student of military history, and lover of Florida birds. Gary is a member of" Focus on The Family's Counsleors Network" and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors .
